This house is built for couples living in the suburbs of Nara. Because it is a life of only two people, it was strongly desired to set it as an open setting without concerning about privacy. On the other hand, since a sense of openness like a large hole is not settled, we adopted to divide the space gently with walls and furniture while maintaining continuity as the space. Since the site is in a sloping area, the floor is composed of skip floors along the terrain. Therefore, the segments of the floor become loose, and the continuity in section is secured as well as in plan.
